About Us
Quilting Bee Blocks is the best place to visit online for all things Virtual Quilting Bees. We have articles highlighting different Quilting Bees and Bee Members, we have information on starting your own bee & being a Bee Mama or Papa, we have links to lots of fun and modern tutorials, we have oodles of inspiration pictures in our Flickr group pool, and we are the original place to host the Master List of Virtual Quilting Bees - a comprehensive list of ALL the Quilting Bees going on in blogland. Talk about inspiration overload!
Don't know what a Virtual Quilting Bee is? Read our article Quilting Bees 101 - Bee Basics to learn more.
Quilting Bee Blocks started as a group on Flickr as a place to centrally showcase and collect all the beautiful quilt blocks being made for online quilting bees. Since then our little group has grown to include a listing of over 100 online bees, has over 800 members and includes close to 10,000 photos of bee blocks.
QuiltingBeeBlocks.com is the next step in having a good resource for Virtual Quilting Bees. We will always have our Master List of Virtual Quilting Bees - our original attempt to list all of the hundreds of Virtual Quilting Bees going on online. The Quilting Bees 101 Series will continually be expanded upon and continued here. We have listings of online block tutorials and a directory of websites that showcase all the different quilt blocks to sew. And of course our Flickr group will continue to grow as our community does and will continue to be the biggest collection of quilt blocks sewn for Virtual Quilting Bees anywhere!
Even if you're not in a Virtual Quilting Bee - if you have any interest in sewing and quilting at all, we hope you'll bookmark or follow our website.
